Service Description
Yin yoga is a place to come and meet yourself on a journey of stillness. A space to balance the Yang busyness of daily life, the practice allows you to connect with your physical, emotional and energetic self as poses are held for prolonged periods (up to five minutes) in order to work deeply with the body's connective tissues. You are invited to find your edge in each shape, and then use the breath to soften past it. Benefits of a regular yin yoga practice: Calms and balances the mind and body Reduces stress and anxiety Increases circulation Improves flexibility Releases fascia and improves joint mobility Balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi or prana Develops a deeper connection with the body Promotes a mindful awareness of the self
